We also strategically collaborate with different local and international institutional fund providers and impact investors to design sustainable and innovative funding structures that are best suited for bankable climate impact and resilient projects and enterprises in Nigeria and across Africa.

SMEFUNDS Capital collaborates with reputable and experienced training institutions and capacity development centres to provide holistic and well grounded workshops and training for the target market. Key training areas are: climate and green finance, environmental, social and governance, environmental, social and impact assessment in investment decisions, sustainable finance, and carbon trading, to name a few.

SMEFUNDS Capital supports vibrant existing and start-up NGOs that are focused on implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related at the level of communities across Nigeria and Africa via community engagement activities and programs. The programs covers, but not limited to the following: waste disposal and recycling, clean energy, education, gender equality, strategic partnerships, and others.

We also collaborate with youthful and globally recognized NGOs and groups to carry out climate and SDGs action education via campus and universities outreach programs.

Our Climate Impact Funds are co-created in collaboration with strategic partners, from fund providers, capacity development partners, and SMEs and businesses. Climate Impact Funds are targeted at implementing strategic climate mitigation and adaptation projects and enterprises leveraging technology, innovative blended financing and credit enhancement, and aims at contributing to the achievement of the host country’s Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement on Combating Climate Change.
